GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The best friend of a missing Richmond woman tells LEX 18 that some of the posters they have put up around Garrard County have been taken down.
“If it was someone else’s family member, I’m sure they wouldn’t appreciate someone coming and tearing down, just like she’s nothing,” said Sabrina Speratos, a friend of Savannah Spurlock.
Spurlock, a mother of four, has been missing since January. She left The Other Bar in Lexington with three men and went to Garrard County. She has not been seen or heard from since.
Missing posters were put up on utility poles around Garrard County, to supplement the anonymous tip boxes that were put up. Some of the posters were ripped down.
Speratos said that just because someone took down the signs, doesn’t mean they won’t be replaced, and it certainly doesn’t mean Spurlock’s loved-ones are any closer to giving up hope.
“We’ll probably have them back out here tomorrow,” said Speratos.
