Jessamine County Public Library was our second stop on our LEX18 Summer Reads tour. Our visit took us to South Africa, through Safari Live, which is an interactive safari that steams live. We visited the Sobby Sands of The Great Keuger National Park during winter in the southern hemisphere. Meteorologist Jill Szwed read, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” to the kids. Summer programs run through July 21st. Visit the Jessamine County Public Library to register in person for new summer programs, signing up is free of charge.
